You can now book at Aether
Looking to avoid the masses at Manchester Airport? Aether, formerly PremAir, is re-opening after a refit. Read on to find out more about the launch.
Looking for a more enjoyable way to start your holiday? Aether could be the solution at Manchester Airport. All good things come at a cost, and if you're a family of four then use of the private terminal, with checked bags, will cost you £1,360 to use Aether on your outbound and inbound flights.
When is Aether opening and how do I book?
The first bookable date is the 4th November 2024. You can book online although there’s a few quirks.
Firstly you can’t select a different airline for your outbound leg and your return leg. This isn’t common but equally we do this more often than not (e.g. flying BA out of MAN, but flying back with Qatar). I don’t think this will be an issue as when you move through the booking process it asks for your specific flight numbers.
Pricing for the private terminal
Running a dummy booking in November has given me the following price for the “Inclusive” package, which includes the full dining experience, being driven to your plane and checked baggage (there are cheaper options if you do not need to check your baggage). Flying out and flying back for two people is £680, or £340 each. You can see more on Aether’s pricing.
It’s worth noting that dynamic pricing does not seem to be at play. I’ve made a number of dummy bookings and the costs remain the same whatever day you fly out on and in any month.
How do you pay for Aether?
There are four card types offered at checkout: Visa, American Express, Mastercard and Discover. The latter is a rare option to see in the wild. Yuu can also pay via Google Pay, but there is no Paypal option.
