Expanding Pointszilla with a new community feature
We’re excited to launch a brand new feature on Pointszilla: Ask A Points Expert. It’s another way to bring together our growing community and help solve the most significant challenge that travellers face: where can I get truly impartial advice?
Why are we doing this?
We’ve been collecting points for many years now, and writing about it for the last eighteen months. It is a labour of love – we have no commercial arrangements and make no money from the site. We write about the things we think are important.
The articles (the good, the interesting, and I’m sure the occasionally uninteresting) come from our own heads, and what we think would be helpful for people to read.
What’s become obvious is the value of the points community. There are hundreds of thousands of passionate points collectors at different stages of their journey. People are always willing to share their advice, whether that’s in a forum, on social media, or in our comments section.

What is Ask A Points Expert
It’s a simpler, cleaner version of a forum, where anyone can ask a question or reply to one. It’s modern, easy to use and – just like the rest of the site – has no advertising. It’s also fully mobile-friendly.
If you want to post a question to the community, then just fill in the question box at the top of the page. You can get an email whenever anyone replies to your question, or just untick the box if you don’t. If you’re not already on our mailing list, you can easily join.
We launched this feature a few days ago, and we’ve had some great questions and lots of replies. Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to use it.
