A short-term, possibly long-term, tie-in.
Hotels and airlines are a natural fit. You typically need one with the other, and for a long time, they’ve been close enough to allow points to be transferred between them. Now Qatar and Hilton are taking their relationship one step further, with discounts and bonus Avios.
What’s the Hilton and Qatar offer?

You have to book before the 31st October 2025, which is a very narrow window. You can travel up to the 31st March 2026.
You also have to use the promo code QRPCHILTON and be a member of the Qatar Privilege Club (which is free to join).
What are the terms of this offer?
Some of these terms are a bit hidden in the T&Cs and should have been made more visible.
Firstly, the discount you get, and whether you get a discount at all, is based on the ticket class. This isn’t the cabin class (e.g., Business Class or Economy) but rather the type of ticket that you buy.
You might think that you’re just buying a seat in economy, but there are multiple ways the seats in that cabin are split, and the differences are defined by the ticket class which is usually a single letter. There’s a great guide to ticket classes here and it not only influences the price you pay, but also your ability to change flights, get a refund and even get access to lounges.
The savings you’ll get are as follows
- Economy Class
- 5% on ticket classes O, T, Q (Classic)
- 10% on ticket classes N, S, V, L, M, K (Convenience)
- Business Class
- 5% on ticket classes R (Promo) (Classic)
- 10% on ticket classes I & D (Convenience
The 10% discount applies to the fare itself; no discount will be applied to taxes or surcharges. Codeshares are not included in this offer.
What about the bonus Avios points?
The bonus Avios is simpler to understand.
- 3,000 extra Avios points if you book an Economy ticket
- 6,000 extra points if you book a Business Class ticket
I would value the bonus Avios at £30 and £60, based on 1p per point.
Is this a good offer?
It’s a decent offer if the booking and travel dates work out for you, and you’re able to get into the right ticket class.
This is one of those promotions that will either work for you, or not. For me, as someone who uses Avios rather than cash for Qatar flights, then it has zero value. There will be plenty of people who can take-up this offer and get a meanintful discount, plus Avios points, on their flight.
Will this offer return?
Any new promotion or tie-in has the potential to become permanent if the numbers make sense, and it is always about the numbers. If this offer is valuable to Qatar (primarily) or Hilton, then expect it to return, or even become a permanent feature.
