100k Avios per day to be won
Linking your Uber and BA accounts means you can pick up a small but useful number of points when you make a trip. You earn 1 point per £ you spend on the trip.
What’s the competition about?
From 15th September 2025 to 14th October 2025, Uber is giving away 100,000 Avios per day. One winner will be selected each day to take home the prize, meaning that there’s a grand total of 3million points being given out over the thirty days the competition is active.
You enter by taking a ride with Uber. At the end of each day Uber will randomly pick a ride (and a person) to win the points. The more rides you take, the greater your chance of winning a prize.
(You can only win the competition once, so if you are lucky enough to get 100k points, that’s your lot.)
How do you link your Uber and BA account?
It’s easy to link your British Airways and Uber accounts. Within the Uber App, go to the settings page, scroll down until you find the British Airways Club link, tap it and log in to your BA account to link them.
I struggled at first and had to involve support, but that’s because I opened my Uber account in the US.
You can earn points via Uber rides (UK only) and also when you book trains or coach journeys through the app. All earn at a rate of 1 point per £1 you spend.
Is Uber Eats included in this?
No. Uber Eats isn’t included in this competition, nor can you link Uber Eats to your BA account. You can, however, earn Avios with Uber Eats via the Shopping Portal.
